We have set up an online donation page on active.com www.active.com/donate/cfals2012 . You can direct donations to this site or set up your own Cycle for ALS donation page and personalize it to your location and target audience. This is actually very simple and straight forward, so please give it a shot. It's never too early to start spreading the word and fundraising! The staff at active.com is more than happy to help so reach out to them.
Setting up a donation page is a great way to get people that are unable to participate in your cycling event to get involved and help you reach your fund raising goal by simply donating to your event. It also gives you the opportunity to get your personal message and goals to more people. You will also be notified via email each time a donation is made. The staff at Active.com is more than happy to guide you through this process and respond to your questions.
Donations made by check should be sent to the address on the "Contact" page. All cash donations should be deposited in a checking account and one check written to the Blazeman Foundation, please do not send cash donations through the mail.
You can also set up a registration page on active.com for participants to register online with a link to your own donation page or the main Cycle for ALS 2012 donation page.
Once you set up you event webpage, the www.cycleforals.com website will link to each event webpage to make it easy for people to find your site from the www.cycleforals.com website.
